The laboratory has a wide range of equipment and methods to satisfy every client’s needs. The equipment, which are required for the right performance of laboratory activities and influence the validity of results, have maintenance and calibration plans that are continuously followed. Our scales and some appliances are calibrated by Rwanda Standards Board as an external provider.
GSA uses the most accurate spectrometers such as: Flame Atomic Absorption, Energy and Wavelength Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence equipment (shortly ED-XRF and WD-XRF); high preciseness scales and other auxiliary appliances. In addition to the above, we provide chemistry analysis (titrimetric method). To operate with sensitive equipment we have experienced professionals, who constantly undergo training.
The laboratory also monitors, controls and records environmental conditions in accordance with relevant specifications, methods or procedures or where they influence the validity of the results and affect the equipment.
